Progetto Europeo del Comitato Foresta dei Giusti
Approvato per l'anno 2009-2010 dalla Eacea, l'Agenzia della Comunità Europea dedicata all'Educazione e alla Cultura
W.E.Fo.R. (Web European Forest Righteous) vuole essere una Foresta virtuale dei Giusti facilmente visitabile, raggiungibile e fruibile da tutti sul web, come strumento efficace, partecipativo, di diffusione dei valori e di scambio di informazioni e di esperienze.
La costruzione di uno spazio digitale della memoria, veicolato attraverso gli strumenti interattivi del web, permetterà un utilizzo pił agevole dei contenuti e fornirà agli insegnanti un approccio dinamico nella costruzione dell'attività didattica, basato sulla partecipazione diretta degli studenti.
WE FoR avrà una struttura divisa in sezioni con modelli d'avanguardia:

Sezione Giardini
- Giardini virtuali dei Giusti europei
- Giardini reali presenti in Europa e dintorni
Per ogni Giardino informazioni testuali, video, audio, fotografiche, relativi alle figure ricordate con gli alberi.

Sezione Studi e ricerche
con materiali di approfondimento teorico e storico, sia sul concetto di Giusto che sull'analisi comparativa delle figure di Giusti nelle diverse forme di totalitarismo (saggi, articoli, relazioni, tesi di laurea).

Sezione YOU FOR
con kit didattici di diverso livello e spazi interattivi per lo scambio di informazioni.
Il progetto sarà strutturato in due grandi macroaree:

Una rappresentazione tridimensionale della Foresta Europea dei Giusti che permetterà agli utenti di navigare in modalità immersiva nel Giardino e di interagire con gli elementi presenti nell'ambiente.
Verranno utilizzate forme di dialogo sincrone (chat) e asincrone (file dowlodabili, email) per aumentare il livello di partecipazione. - Pagine bidimensionali con strumenti interattivi, tramite registrazione per lo scambio di esperienze, informazioni, documentazione, opinioni e per la costruzione di eventi commermorativi, cerimonie e celebrazioni virtuali.
Il progetto è in fase di realizzazione.

European project of the Gardens of the Righteous Worldwide Committee
Approved of by the European Community agency devoted to Education and Culture (Eacea), for the year 2009-2010.
W.E.Fo.R. (Web European Forest Righteous) aims at being a Virtual Forest of the Righteous which everyone can easily visit, reach and benefit from and which can become an effective, participatory tool and a tool enabling to spread values and exchange information and experiences.
The construction of a digital place of remembrance, conveyed through the interactive means of the Web, will enable an easiier use of the contents and will provide the teachers with a dynamic approach in the building of the educational activity, as based on the students' direct participation.
The W.E.F.o.R. Web project will be structured into sections and will be designed following models at the forefront of innovation:

Gardens section
- Virtual gardens of the European Righteous
- Gardens really existing in and around Europe
Every Garden will gather textual, video, audio, and photographic information relating to the Righteous remembered in it.

Papers and research section
which will collect advanced material on the concept of the Righteous and comparative analysis of the figures of the Righteous in the different forms of totalitarianism (essays, articles, reports, theses

YOU FOR section
with teaching kits at different levels and interactive places for the exchange of information.
The project will be structured into two macroareas:

The threedimensional representation of the European Forest of the Righteous which will enable the users to navigate as if immersed in the Garden and to interact with the elements present in the environment.
We will use forms of synchronic (chat) and asynchronic (downloadable files, e-mail) dialogue to increase the level of participation. - Bidimensional pages with interactive tools which the users will be able to access by registering and that will enable them to exchange experiences, information, documentation and opinions so that the active participation, the building of virtual commemoration events, ceremonies and celebrations is favored.
